Lori is the founder and CEO of VIM & VIXIN, a firm built by women for women. For over 20 years, she has worked with CEO’s to venture capitalists, start ups to fortune 500 companies building C-suite teams and shaping corporate culture. While working with these clients, time and again she experienced qualified women being passed over for roles for which they were ideally suited. In addition, women she met along the way reached out to her for help build out a strategy to get them where they really wanted to go. We all know that amazing things happen when women support women.
Lori is not advocating for gender equality at the executive level to change the minds of men. She runs VIM & VIXIN, a company that works with you to reintegrate back into the workforce, build a strategy to get the job, create the life or build the business that you have always wanted.
She returned from that sojourn and in 2010 and started Grand Asian Journeys so she could share her passion for some of the most amazing and inspiring places that she’d visited on her journey. She continues to work in the travel industry for Wildland Adventures creating trips all over the globe for small groups including for families and women-only trips that she leads.
In her spare time, she can be found outside, preparing for her next Himalayan trek or bike ride or whipping up her favorite recipe from a recent trip. She is the proud aunt of six and strives everyday to become the person that her Golden Retriever thinks she is.
For Pam, joy and meaning are inseparable. She is excited to share how she discovered true meaning in her life, and give you tips for discovering your own.

Driven to accomplish what others have said was impossible; Kerry Slone has sought out unique opportunities to excel in business and capitalized on them. With over twenty years in the beauty industry, Kerry has gone from living in a closet at work while she began her career to the owner of Poulsbo’s award winning Beautifully Polished day spa. As a self-proclaimed “opportunista”, she follows the mantra of “if someone offers you an amazing opportunity but you are not sure you can do it, say YES; then learn how to do it later”.
Kerry, who grew up in California and Oregon, relocated to Kitsap County in 1998. Professionally, she is a Washington state licensed master nail technician, master aesthetician and professional make-up artist—with a passion for the advancement and empowerment of women in business. Through sacrifice and tenacity, Kerry has balanced her life as a military wife and mother with her roles as an entrepreneur and founder of multiple corporations.
Darcy married her husband Trevor in 1999. She has a daughter at North Kitsap high school and a son at Poulsbo Middle School. She was born and raised in the PNW. She enjoys doing anything out in the warm sunshine, but when it is not so warm and sunny out, she enjoys reading, cooking and exercising.

In the Spring of 2015 she completed her Integrative Health Coaching Certification through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and started her own business, Health and Fitness by Design. Currently, she works one on one and in small groups with clients to challenge and educate them in a supportive and encouraging way to meet their goals. Darcy believes that there is a powerful mind, body and spirit connection and will work alongside of you to help you achieve balance in all areas of your life so that connection may be restored.
Joni is a partner in the real estate group Kimmel & Young Real Estate, a Kitsap County native and graduate of Western Washington University. Joni has been selling real estate for over 20 years locally and partnered with her associate and friend Bridget Young, for the past 9. In Joni’s words, “this partnership is literally what gets my feet on the ground every morning. What a treat to be able to like my work and who I work with.”
Joni lives in Poulsbo with her husband and two children (and sometimes her foreign exchange students!). She’s an extroverted people person but on those rare occasions when she needs her downtime you can find her just a ferry ride away in downtown Seattle browsing the shops.
Bridget grew up on Bainbridge Island and in Indianola. She and her business partner, Joni Kimmel, both went to high school together and never thought they would end up selling real estate together one day. She has been selling real estate for over 14 years now. Bridget went to college at Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, but returned home to the Northwest with her husband and together now have a 12 year old son. In her “spare” time, Bridget love to indulge in her creative side, including her hilarious one-woman stand-up comedy act “The Real Estate Lady” about real estate, motherhood and the madness of modern life as a way to raise money for local organizations. All of the proceeds from each performance are either donated to non-profit organizations or needy individuals.
Marnie is the Founder and Creator of Life Extraordinary and the Dine and Dream Dinners. She has also worked alongside her husband for 26 years running their construction company Chinook Properties, Inc.
Most of her day is spent behind a computer handling the administrative and financial side of their company. Some of you may find creativity in spreadsheets and bank reconciliations but Marnie does NOT. In an effort to find some form of inspiration Marnie started the Dine and Dream Dinners (a new take on Girls Night Out) and her Vision Board Workshop. For someone who has never considered herself creative, this has been a fun way to tap into that part of her personality.
In her session “Creativity For the Real World” Marnie will be partnering with Jenny Ingram to share how they both bring a little fun and colored marker into their day through journaling and vision boards.
Jenny is the founder & chief creator at Jennyonthespot.com.
She is also co-producing this very event with Marnie and Jackie!
Jenny is a hungry creative who struggles to find time to feed that creative little animal within. BUT SHE MUST. Sharing crafts and recipes on her blog helps, but that often ends up feeling like work… so her quest for creative fulfillment is ongoing.
In her session, Creativity for the Real World, Jenny will partner with Marnie Clark to share how they both satiate at least a part of their creative hunger through their hands-on session.
